THE HOMESTEAD CHAMPIONSHIP RODEO

Our rodeo is one of over 700 sanctioned annually by the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA). The PRCA is the largest and oldest rodeo-sanctioning body in the world; ensuring that every event is managed with fairness and competence, and that the livestock used is healthy and cared for to the highest standards.

The Homestead Championship Rodeo is a three-day annual event put on by an all-volunteer, 501(c) 3 organization, known as the Homestead Rodeo Association, or HRA for short.

2026 Parking Info

Please see the parking map below for information on parking and directions to the Homestead Championship Rodeo. We were thankfully able to rent the lot next to the rodeo grounds for 2026 so this year all spectator parking will be in the vacant field south of the rodeo grounds with thru gates to enter onto the property. HOMESTEAD TRADITION

The annual Homestead Championship Rodeo is a tradition that grew out of a group of seventeen founding members who wanted to showcase this unique western sporting event. Founded in 1949, it is one of the oldest annual professional sporting events in South Florida and the only PRCA Rodeo in Miami-Dade County.
